How old do I have to be?
From the age of 5 years and up to the 80’s and every other age in between.
What can I expect?
Usually after a kinesiology session, you should feel more relaxed, have clarity and reduced pain without drugs or the use of invasive instruments.
Why should I try?
The procedures are non-invasive, and get to the core of the problem with no need for drugs.
Three Reasons to Come See Karen Brown.
1. With experience in a full time kinesiology career, I understand the fears, needs and problems of others and work within the scope of each individual and their readiness for change or clarification.
2. You can come to have treatments with complete confidence, knowing that kinesiology is both an effective treatment and affordable by all.
3. We provide a relaxing atmosphere, are conveniently located within short walking distance to public transport and provide on-site parking. There is easy access to the house for those with mobility problems.
How Does It Work?
Kinesiology is the study of movement within the human body. The body holds onto stress, disease, and emotions on a cellular and muscular level. I am able to access the blockages within the body’s energetic system thru muscle monitoring.
Are there Any Conditions that Can't Be Treated?
There are some conditions that can have the pain or symptoms reduced only with the condition still progressing at a slower rate. Kinesiology can also help with the psychological aspect of these conditions in helping you to cope better. An example of these conditions where the pain has been reduced and muscle tone improved is Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and Cancer. Please contact me to discuss whether kinesiology can help you.
Does it Hurt?
No, there is no pain. All procedures are done using soft touch while you are fully clothed either sitting up or lying on a massage table.
Do I Have to Undress?
No, all examination and procedures are done while you are fully clothed. There is no need at all for you to undress.
How Many Visits?
All people as individuals, and each unique. The number of sessions varies from person to person. Normally it can be from 2 sessions up to 10.
What is Muscle Monitoring (Testing)?
Muscle monitoring involves the application of pressure on a part of the body (usually the arm) to gauge the strength/weakness of the muscle being monitored. The response of the muscle allows me to ascertain the degree of stress within the muscle. This is often referred to as biofeedback.
I recommend Karen Brown for her knowledge and experience in Kinesiology and Holistic Medical training. Due to a Skydiving accident I dislocated my Left Shoulder and required re-construction surgery. Although the surgery was successful it still left me with a lot of nerve pain. Luckily for me Karen was able to work with my shoulder and was able to reduce the pain considerably and also gained better movement.
I suffered from Claustrophobia and Karen managed to unravel the hidden causes that contributed to the problem and I am now less stressed and do not suffer the same anxiety if faced with similar situations today. I am sure Karen will help many more people in the future. Thank you again Karen for your dedication and care in your great knowledge and training.
Having suffered from a lot of neck and shoulder pain for a long time, I decided to visit Karen and have been receiving treatment since June 2015. I have really benefited from the treatments with the pain being reduced greatly. An added bonus of the treatment is that Karen has taught me ways of relaxing which have been extremely helpful when stressful situations have arisen in my life. I highly recommend Karen’s skills.
